Staff Mobility

Teaching Staff Mobility (STA):  The Erasmus+ Teaching Staff Mobility enables academic staff spending teaching periods at partner universities in the scope of bilateral agreements staff and also enables non-mobile students to benefit from international lectures. Erasmus teachers contribute substantially to new cooperation activities and international academic networking. 

Staff Training Mobility (STT): The Erasmus+ Staff Training Mobility enables not only academic but also administrative staff to visit an Erasmus partner university. This mobility helps staff members strengthen their competencies and make professional exchange with international colleagues. 

Whether you are here to pursue your own research work or whether you have an employment contract at the university, we would like to extend a warm welcome to you on behalf of the university. There are, naturally enough, a number of formalities that have to be dealt with by anyone wishing to visit Poland. To help you settle in quickly and to try and minimize the amount of time you have to spend on paperwork, we have gathered together the most important information that you will need for your stay in Poland. There is no application period for Teaching Staff Mobility Programmes. However, we advise staff to inform their school’s ERASMUS Office of their interest in spending a period teaching abroad, preferably before the start of the academic year.

Staff should obtain information from the ERASMUS Office about Foreign Universities with which there are current bilateral agreements and the requirements for applying to them, following the steps outlined below:

Browse the websites of the Foreign Teaching Institutions concerned for information regarding the institution itself, study plans, calendars, location, accommodation and other facilities.

Present your Application to the ERASMUS Office;

Obtain approval from the Host Institution;

Obtain an Letter of Acceptance from the Host Institution;

Request the ERASMUS Office to complete the documents required to issue an Erasmus Teaching Staff Mobility Contract;

Make the necessary travel and accommodation arrangements;

You will normally be asked to sign the ERASMUS Teaching Staff Mobility Contract 30 days before departure.

It is advisable to apply for a European Health Insurance Card.
